Sound Familiar?
You Understand Yourself.
You're Still Not Free.
- You've done years of therapy and can explain exactly what's wrong
- Understanding it hasn't changed how it feels
- You're stuck in the same patterns even though you "know better"
- Talk therapy has taken you far — but not all the way
- You're ready for something that reaches deeper than insight
KAP Isn't a Shortcut. It's a Different Kind of Access.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy can help you:
- Access emotional material that talk therapy alone hasn't reached
- Loosen rigid thought patterns that keep you stuck
- Process trauma from a place of safety and distance
- Experience real shifts in perspective, not just insight
- Integrate what comes up into lasting change
How KAP Works
1. Medical Consultation. I partner with Journey Clinical, a network of physicians who specialize in ketamine-assisted care. They handle your medical screening, eligibility, and prescription — always done virtually.
2. Preparation Sessions. Before your first dosing session, we meet to build trust, set intentions, and make sure you feel grounded and prepared for the experience ahead.
3. Dosing Sessions. You'll take a sublingual ketamine lozenge in a calm, supported setting — either in my office or virtually at home with a trusted support person (chaperone) present for your safety. I'm with you throughout, whether in person or by telehealth. Sessions run 1–3 hours, and you remain awake the entire time.
4. Integration Sessions. Afterward, we meet to process what came up and translate it into real, lasting change — this is where the deepest work happens.

-
A treatment that pairs medically supervised ketamine sessions with psychotherapy — preparation before, support during, and integration after — so the experience translates into real, lasting change rather than a one-time effect.
-
Many people with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, or those who feel stuck despite years of therapy are good candidates. Eligibility is determined through a medical screening with my partnered medical team at Journey Clinical, who review your health history and current medications.
-
You'll take a ketamine lozenge that dissolves under your tongue while I'm present with you the entire time. Most people feel deeply relaxed, with some experiencing vivid imagery or emotional shifts. You remain awake and aware throughout.
-
No, though many clients begin KAP after we've already been working together. New clients are welcome to start with a consultation to see if it's the right fit.
-
Coverage varies by provider and plan. Journey Clinical can help clarify what your specific coverage includes during your medical consultation
-
Ketamine alone is a medication. KAP pairs that medication with a dedicated therapeutic relationship — preparation, presence during your session, and integration afterward — which leads to more meaningful and lasting change than medication alone.
-
Yes. Dosing sessions can take place in my office or virtually at home, as long as a trusted support person is with you for safety. I'm present with you throughout the session either way.
-
You'll experience an altered, deeply relaxed state — not a recreational high. The goal isn't the experience itself, it's what that state allows us to access and process together.
-
Standard drug tests do not typically screen for ketamine. If you have a specific concern related to your job or a testing requirement, mention it during your medical consultation with Journey Clinical.
-
Yes, when done under medical supervision. Journey Clinical's medical team screens for contraindications like uncontrolled high blood pressure, active substance use disorders, or a history of psychosis before approving treatment.
-
No. You'll need someone to drive you home, or be with you the rest of the day if your session is at home, and it's not safe to drive again until the following day.
-
The dosing session itself runs 1–3 hours, with the main effects lasting about 45–60 minutes. Most people take the rest of that day to rest and process, and return to normal activities the next day. It's best to avoid high-stress or demanding work the same day.
Ketamine opens the door.
Therapy helps you walk through it.
Integration makes it last.
